The price of used housing stood at 1626 euros per square meter in July with a slight decrease of 0.4 percent over the previous period, according to the last idealista.com price index.
By provinces, used housing stood at Las Palmas in 1664 euros per square meter (+0.3%)-Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2002 registration euros (+0.3%) - while in Santa Cruz de Tenerife was EUR, Aion, 1,575 (-1.6%)-in capital 1846 euros (-1.7%) -.
Nationally, the price stood at EUR 2365 per square foot in July with a slight decrease of 0.4% over the previous period.
For the first time, the number of markets that fall is the same as those who increase their prices, locating the largest declines in Murcia (-1.9%), Navarra and Valencia, both with a decrease of 1.8% . By the side of the increases, the real estate portal emphasizes those in Baleares (+2.5%), Cantabria (+1.5%) and Galicia (+0.9%).
On the other hand, more expensive per square meter was located in the Basque Country (3525 euros), followed by the Community of Madrid (3270 euros), Wales (2,800 euros) and Cantabria (2,499 euros). On the opposite side stood Extremadura (1,402 euros), Murcia (1,441 euros) and Canary (1626 euros).
Finally, most of the provinces, as 27 of them, recorded price increases in the month of July, being Baleares which experienced the largest increase, rising 2.5%. The price came down in another 23 communities, with particular intensity in Lleida, where the fall was 4.6%.
