The world of Aion

Aion happens in Atreia, a stunning beautiful world split into two parts.
Once connected by the Tower of Eternity, an ancient catastrophe attacks Atreia resulting in sundering. On your way to save the world, your character will go though many unexpected difficulties as such the inner surface of Atreia, exploring lush land, floating islands, chaotic voids, and many other amazing vistas.
the two divine factions, the Elyos and the Asmodians, live in each half of the shattered world respectively. Since the Catastrophe isolated Atreia into two, each side has kept silent for centuries on the event of cataclysm in the past. They hate each other strongly.
Many centuries passed after the cataclysm, there are lots of fragments of the destroyed Tower began floating mysteriously in the air, unstable portals opened into a dimension of darkness and wonder where fragments of the Tower drifted are revealed. The place is called the Abyss. In the Abyss, it is comer scene to fly that once lost. The Abyss is where Elyos and Asmodians contend to open an epic war for supremacy.
